Well, the long Call Process has finally ended with Pastor Adam L. Scheblein accepting to serve at Immanuel Lutheran Church. His official duties begin on May 23rd, 2010 during a special service when The Rite of Installation will take place.

Pastor Adam L. Scheblein 2010 - Present

Pastor Adam L. Scheblein was born in Queens, NY in 1950 and grew up on Long Island, graduating from Brentwood High School, Brentwood, NY in 1968. He received an A. A. S. degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Cobleskill in 1970. He served four years in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War from 1970 to 1974, being stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii for three years. Upon discharge from the Navy he earned another A. A. S. degree in General Science from Suffolk County Community College, Selden, NY in 1975. He then went on to earn a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stonybrook in 1977. Pastor and Jean were married on July 2, 1977.
